Tasting Notes: The secret lies in the stems. We whole-cluster press every grape from this hillside vineyard, rooted deep in Mendocino’s high elevation soils. The result is a Syrah layered with wild herbs, black tea, and a crackle of white pepper. The stems don’t just add texture—they shape a finely tuned tannin structure that lets Syrah’s savory side take the lead. Dark fruit runs through this wine like a quiet current, while the palate stays agile and lifted—think pomegranate molasses with a hint of sun-ripened marionberries. After harvest, the fruit was gently foot-tread and allowed to rest for a few days, encouraging just a touch of carbonic intrigue from the bottom of the bin. The result? Lush, vibrant, and irresistibly juicy. Drink now or cellar through 2030.

Vineyard: In our pursuit of a fully organic oasis, we headed north to Mendocino’s Eagle Point Vineyard for the 2021 Electric. This site is Rhône varietal perfection, shaped by the ideal balance of sun-soaked days and cool, whispering nights. Too warm for Pinot, too brisk for Cabernet—but for Syrah, it’s just right.
