This wine vibes!...again! Picture sweet pear drops and zesty lemon hits, gliding in smoothly but grabbing your taste buds on the flip side. It's not just easy on the eyes – it's crystal clear in the glass with a spicy, textured twist on the palate. In 2023, the fruit was picked early to maintain its natural acidity. We harvested slightly earlier than last year, allowing us to retain higher total acidity while maintaining the same low alcohol content as last year. This gives the wine a little more structure and weight than before.
The sandy soils of this Biodynamically farmed vineyard, planted in ancient river wash from the Mokelumne River, truly create a beautifully balanced summer sipper. Directly pressed whole cluster and fermented with very few solids, along with the sand in which it was grown, makes this wine light, bright, and oh so delicious. It's unquestionably a summer party wine.
